Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the mass air flow/intake air temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor electrical connector (4).

  3. Pull up on the air cleaner assembly (1) in order to release the retainers from the air cleaner adaptor (2).

  4. If necessary, loosen the MAF/IAT clamp.
  5. If necessary, remove the MAF/IAT sensor.
