Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement (4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L (RPO LQ4)) or Engine Sight Shield Replacement (6.0L (RPO LQ9)) in Engine Mechanical-4.8L, 5.3L, and 6.0L.
  2. Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector (1).

  3. Remove the MAP sensor (1).
