Trunk Lid Opener Removal/Installation

- To remove the trunk lid opener lever, remove the following part:
- Front scuff plate (Driver's side) (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- When removing the trunk lid opener cable, perform the following procedure:
- Remove the following parts:
- Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear seat (See REAR SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Rear scuff plate (Driver's side) (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Tire house trim (Driver's side) (See TIRE HOUSE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- B-pillar lower trim (Driver's side) (See B-PILLAR LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Partially peel back the floor covering so that the trunk lid opener cable can be removed.
- Remove the trunk lid opener cable from the trunk lid lock striker.
- Remove the trunk lid opener cable from the clips A.
- Remove the following parts:
- Remove in the order indicated in the figure.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
