The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.
- 3: This step determines if the DDM recognizes the lockout switch input.
- 4: This step determines if the indicator is operating properly.

IMPORTANT:
Make sure that the passenger window lockout option is selected as ON in the vehicle owner customization menu. If the window lockout selection is OFF, set it to ON and verify that the fault is still present.

| 4 | Observe the lockout indicator LED on the window lockout switch button while momentarily pressing it. Does the lockout indicator LED illuminate and go out with each succeeding press of the switch button? |
