Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Identifying Lateral Accelerometer Sensor & Electrical Connector

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the lateral accelerometer sensor (1) onto the mounting studs.
Tighten: Tighten the 2 lateral accelerometer sensor nuts to 2.4 N.m (21 lb in).
Connect the lateral accelerometer sensor electrical connector (2).
Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear in Seats.
Perform the ABS Diagnostic System Check. Refer to Diagnostic System Check - ABS .
