Installation Procedure

Fig 1: Identifying Yaw Rate Sensor Mounting Nuts

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the yaw rate sensor onto the mounting studs.
Tighten: Tighten the 2 yaw rate sensor nuts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
Install the rear trim panel shelf. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window Shelf in Interior Trim.
Install the yaw rate sensor electrical connector.
Install the rear compartment trim. Refer to Compartment Trim Panel Replacement - Rear in Body Rear End.
Perform the ABS Diagnostic System Check. Refer to Diagnostic System Check - ABS .
