Removal Procedure

If the vehicle is equipped with a column shift lever the traction control switch is part of the lever and is replaced with the lever. Refer to Shift Lever Replacement in Steering Wheel and Column.

If equipped with a console shift remove the center console trim plate (1). Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Front Floor Console (DTS) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
Remove the traction control switch electrical connector (3).
Remove the traction control switch (2).
