Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Cadillac DeVille. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the DIM module to the bracket.
  2. Slide the DIM module upward until the DIM module and the locking tab are fully engaged.

  3. Connect the DIM module electrical connectors (2).
  4. Install the right sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right in Instrument Panel Gages, and Console.
  5. Reprogram the DIM module (1). Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration (IPM)  or Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration (DIM)  or Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration (RIM) .
