Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT: During installation ensure that the child tether anchor (1) is installed with the anti rotation tabs firmly seated in the anti rotation holes on the cross car beam. The anti rotation tabs face forward on both the left and the right sides. For the center child tether anchor (1), the anti rotation tabs face the rear of the vehicle

Install the child tether anchor (1) to the cross car beam.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the child tether anchor fastener (2).
Tighten: Tighten the fastener to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
Install the rear shelf panel reinforcement. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Window Shelf in Interior Trim.
