Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.
  3. Disconnect the brake fluid pressure sensor connector.
  4. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  5. Remove the two bracket bolts.

  7. Disconnect the electronic brake control module (EBCM) connector.

  9. Remove the four EBCM to brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) bolts.
  10. Separate the EBCM from the BPMV by gently pulling apart until separated.
