Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the battery.
  2. Install the battery hold down retainer and bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the battery hold down retainer bolt to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

  3. Connect the positive battery cable (1) to the battery (3).

    Tighten:  Tighten the positive battery cable bolt to 8 N.m (71 lb ft).

  4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure .
