Removal Procedure

- Drain the fuel tank below the level of the fuel filler hose. Refer to Fuel Tank Draining Procedure .
- Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
in General Information.
- Remove the wheel house filler pipe opening cover (2).
- Remove the fuel tank filler pipe ground wire bolt (4).

- Remove the fuel filler pipe clamp.
- Remove the fuel filler pipe (1).
