Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the accelerator control cable (2) from the accelerator controls bracket (3).

- Disconnect the accelerator control cable (3) from the throttle body lever (2).

- Disconnect the accelerator control cable (2) at the retainer (1) on the bulkhead.

- Remove the left closeout insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left
in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
- Squeeze the accelerator control cable (1) cover tangs and push the accelerator control cable through the bulkhead.
- Disconnect the accelerator control cable (1) at the accelerator controls pedal (3).
- Remove the accelerator control cable.
