Removal Procedure

Remove the sending unit. Refer to Fuel Sender Assembly Replacement (Front Tank) or Fuel Sender Assembly Replacement (Rear Tank) .
Disconnect the level sensor electrical connector.
Release the level sensor retaining clip.
Squeeze the locking tangs together, and remove the fuel level sensor (1).
