Removal Procedure

- Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement
in Engine Mechanical - 4.6L (LH2).
- Remove the ignition coil cover from the cam cover by lifting straight up.

- Disconnect the ignition module assembly wiring harness electrical connector.

- Remove the ignition module assembly retaining bolts and studs.
- Carefully, remove the ignition module assembly.
