Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the EBCM to the BPMV.
Tighten the four mounting bolts in the following sequence:
Tighten:
- First pass to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
- Second pass to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
Connect the EBCM connector.
Connect the brake fluid pressure sensor connector.

Install the two BPMV bracket bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).
Lower the vehicle.
Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, engine off.
Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle in Vehicle DTC Information.
