Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure .

  2. Disconnect the positive battery cable (1) from the battery (3).

  3. Remove the battery hold down retainer bolt (1) and retainer (2).
  4. Remove the battery.
