NOTE: Always connect or disconnect the wiring harness connector from the EBCM/EBTCM with the ignition switch in the OFF position. Failure to observe this precaution could result in damage to the EBCM/EBTCM. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Remove the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation . Remove the left front inner wheelhouse liner. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front .
1	Bolt, Electronic Brake Control Module (Qty: 4) Tip: Remove the electrical connector from the electronic brake control module. Reflash the electronic brake control module. Refer to Electronic Brake Control Module Programming and Setup . Tighten: 2 N.m (18 lb in)
2	Module, Electronic Brake Control Tip: Clean the sealing surface of the brake pressure modulator valve with denatured alcohol and a clean shop cloth.

Preliminary Procedures

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Remove the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
Remove the left front inner wheelhouse liner. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front .

Bolt, Electronic Brake Control Module (Qty: 4)
Tip:

Remove the electrical connector from the electronic brake control module.
Reflash the electronic brake control module. Refer to Electronic Brake Control Module Programming and Setup .

Tighten: 2 N.m (18 lb in)
