Circuit/System Testing

IMPORTANT:
If rear seat audio controller turns ON but the video is blank, use diagnostic Video Display is Poor or Blank .
- Ignition OFF, Disconnect the video rear seat audio controller harness connector. Verify that a test lamp illuminates between the B+ circuit terminal J1-5 and ground.
- If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the B+ circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance.
- If the B+ circuit tests normal, replace the radio.
- Test for less than 1.0 ohm of resistance between the rear seat audio controller ground circuit and ground
- If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
- If all circuits test normal, replace the rear seat audio controller.
