The Instrument Panel Module (IPM) Scan Tool Data Definitions contains a brief description of all steering column related SCLCM parameters available on the scan tool.
- Battery Voltage Signal

The scan tool displays 0-20 volts. The scan tool displays the voltage as received on the battery positive voltage circuit of the module.
- Column Lock Relay

The scan tool displays Enabled or Disabled. This signal determines whether or not the IPM is allowing the steering column lock to function.
- Telescope Forward Switch

The scan tool displays Active or Inactive. When the switch is pressed to the forward position the scan tool displays Active. When the switch is not pressed forward the scan tool displays Inactive.
- Telescope Rearward Switch

The scan tool displays Active or Inactive. When the switch is pressed to the rearward position the scan tool displays Active. When the switch is not pressed rearward the scan tool displays Inactive.
- Tilt Down Switch

The scan tool displays Active or Inactive. When the switch is pressed to the down position the scan tool displays Active. When the switch is not pressed down the scan tool displays Inactive.
- Tilt Up Switch
