Circuit/System Verification

- Inspect the rearview camera and verify there is no debris on the lens and that the bezel or bezel seal is not damaged.
- If debris is found on the lens, clean the lens. If the lens, bezel, or bezel seal are damaged, replace as necessary.
- Vehicle running in PARK, verify the backup lamps are off.
- If the backup lamps are illuminated, refer to Rearview Camera System Always On .
- Vehicle in REVERSE, engine running, verify backup lamps are on.
- If the backup lamps are not illuminated, refer to Backup Lamps Malfunction .
- Park brake ON, vehicle running and in REVERSE, verify a clear rear vision image is displayed on the radio.
- If a clear image is not displayed, refer to Rearview Camera System Does Not Display .
