Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Cadillac XLR. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
    IMPORTANT: Do not swap digital radio receivers between vehicles. Swapping digital receivers between vehicles will activate the digital radio Theftlock, "XM Theftlock" will be displayed.
  1. Remove the rear compartment stowage trim. Refer to Body Rear Compartment Replacement .

  3. Remove the 3 retaining nuts to the digital radio receiver from the mounting bracket.

  5. Lower the receiver from the mounting bracket and disconnect the coaxial and the electrical leads from the receiver.
  6. Remove the radio receiver from the vehicle.
