ECM Replacement

If the engine control module (ECM) is replaced, the following procedures must be performed:

The ECM Reprogramming-Refer to Service Programming System (SPS) .
The CKP Variation Learn-Refer to the appropriate procedure:
- CKP System Variation Learn Procedure for the 6.0L (LS2) engine.
- CKP System Variation Learn Procedure for the 7.0L (LS7) engine.
The Theft Deterrent Programming-Refer to Programming Theft Deterrent System Components (Domestic, Canada, and Japan) or Programming Theft Deterrent System Components (Export ) .
