Knock Sensor Replacement (Bank 2)

Removal Procedure






Caution: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution.

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Disconnect the knock sensor electrical connector (3).
3. Remove the knock sensor mounting bolt (1).
4. Remove the knock sensor (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Position the knock sensor (2) to the engine.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the knock sensor mounting bolt (1).

Tighten the knock sensor mounting bolt 1 to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

3. Connect the knock sensor electrical connector (3).
4. Lower the vehicle.
