Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the front bumper fascia lower closeout panel. Refer to Front Bumper Lower Fascia Replacement .
  4. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector (1).

  6. Remove the wheel speed sensor wire harness clips (1) from the vehicle frame.

  8. Remove the wheel speed sensor wire harness clip (1) from the steering knuckle.

  10. Thoroughly clean the wheel speed sensor mounting area of the steering knuckle of any dirt and debris.
  11. Remove the wheel speed sensor bolt (1).

  13. Remove the wheel speed sensor (1) from the steering knuckle.
