Installation Procedure

  1. Install the yaw rate sensor and lateral accelerometer (1).
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in the Preface section

  3. Install the yaw rate sensor and lateral accelerometer bolt (1). Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  5. Install the yaw rate sensor and lateral accelerometer nuts (1). Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  6. Connect the yaw rate sensor and lateral accelerometer electrical connector.
  7. Position the carpet to the floor.
  8. Install a scan tool.
  9. Using the special functions menu on the scan tool, reset the yaw rate sensor.
  10. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle.
