Installation Procedure

Position the power steering cooler pipe to the vehicle.

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Connect the power steering cooler pipe fitting (1) to the steering gear and tighten the fitting to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

Clip in place all the power steering cooler pipe bracket fasteners (1).

Compress the power steering cooler pipe clamp (2) and connect the power steering cooler pipe (1) to the remote power steering fluid reservoir.
Clean any excess fluid from the vehicle and remove the drain pans.
Install the right front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
