Installation Procedure

  1. Install a NEW throttle body gasket into the upper intake manifold.
  2. Place the throttle body onto the upper intake manifold.
    3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the throttle body bolts and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (2) to the throttle body.
  5. Install the air cleaner outlet resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement .
  6. Perform the throttle learn procedure. Refer to Throttle/Idle Learn .
