Global Positioning System (GPS) Antenna Replacement (Left Hand Drive)

Callout Component Name

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel with Windshield Defroster Nozzle Grille Replacement (Left Hand Drive) or Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel with Windshield Defroster Nozzle Grille Replacement (Right Hand Drive) .
  2. Remove the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement (Left Hand Drive)  or Radio Replacement (Right Hand Drive) .
1 Navigation Antenna Bolt (Qty: 2)
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten:  2 N.m (18 lb in)

2 Navigation Antenna Assembly
Tip: 
  • Do not splice the wiring or make the antenna lead shorter.
  • Disconnect the navigation antenna from the radio.
