Circuit/System Description

When the electronic brake control module (EBCM) is replaced, software and calibrations are flash programmed into the EBCM. The EBCM receives the vehicle identification number (VIN) information from other modules on the vehicle in order for the EBCM to automatically calibrate to the vehicle.
