Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: View Of ECM

  1. Install the ECM (3) to the ECM bracket (4).
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the ECM retaining fasteners (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the ECM retaining fasteners to 3.0 N.m (27 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connectors (2) to the ECM (3).
  4. Install the right front wheelhouse filler panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement - Right Side .
  5. If a new ECM is being installed, program the ECM. Refer to Control Module References .
