Installation Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  1. Install the coolant temperature sensor and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
  2. Install the coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.

  3. Slide the electrical connector heat protector (1) onto the electrical connector.
  4. Inspect and fill the cooling system as necessary. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) .
