Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the appropriate window motor.
  2. Disconnect the X2 harness connector at the door module.
  3. Test for less than 1 ohm between the signal circuit terminal 3 at the window motor and the signal circuit terminal at the door module listed below:
    • DDM signal circuit terminal 14
    • PDM signal circuit terminal 14
    • LRDM signal circuit terminal 8
    • RRDM signal circuit terminal 8
    • If greater than the specified range, test the signal circuit for a short to voltage or an open/high resistance.
  4. Verify that a test lamp does not illuminate between the signal circuit terminal 3 and B+.
    • If the test lamp illuminates, test the signal circuit for a short to ground.
  5. Connect the harness connector at the window motor and the X2 harness connector at the door module.
  6. Ignition ON, clear all DTCs and perform the Window Motor Programming - Express Function .
  7. Operate the window within the Conditions for Running the DTC.
    • If B3832 08 resets as current, replace the window motor.
