Circuit/System Testing

NOTE:
Before disconnecting the harness connector at the VDAAW module, ensure that the ignition has been OFF for at least 120 seconds. Failure to do so may result in component damage.
- Ignition OFF for 120 seconds, disconnect the harness connector at the vehicle direction alert alarm warning module.
- Ignition OFF, test for less than 1.0 Ω between the ground circuit terminal 4 and ground.
- If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuit for an open/high resistance.
- Ignition ON, verify a test lamp illuminates between the B+ circuit terminal 2 and ground.
- If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the B+ circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance.
- If all circuits test normal, replace the vehicle direction alert alarm warning module.
