Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying ECM Components

  1. Install the ECM (3) to the ECM bracket (4).
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the ECM retaining fasteners (2) and tighten to 3.0 N.m (27 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connectors (2) to the ECM (3).
  4. Install the right front wheelhouse filler panel. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Rear Liner Replacement .
  5. If a new ECM is being installed, program the ECM. Refer to Control Module References .
