Component Testing

- Ignition OFF, disconnect the X2 harness connector at the steering wheel control switch.
- Test for less than 2,400 ohms between the ignition circuit terminal 3 and signal circuit terminal 4.
- If not the specified value, replace the steering wheel control switch.
- Test for infinite resistance between the ignition circuit terminal 3 and the signal circuit terminal 5 with the switch in the open position.
- If not the specified value, replace the steering wheel control switch.
- Test for less than 2,400 ohms between the ignition circuit terminal 3 and the signal circuit terminal 5 with the switch in the closed position.
- If not the specified value, replace the steering wheel control switch.
- Disconnect the X1 harness connector at the steering wheel control switch.
- Test for infinite resistance between the signal circuit terminal 1 and the signal circuit terminal 2.
- If not the specified value, replace the steering wheel control switch.
- Test for less than 2,000 ohms between the signal circuit terminal 1 and the signal circuit terminal 2.
- If not the specified value, replace the steering wheel control switch.
