Preliminary Procedures Disable the pedestrian impact detection system. Refer to Pedestrian Impact Detection System Disabling and Enabling . Remove the front fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement . Remove the front fascia absorber. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement (Standard) or Front Bumper Fascia Energy Absorber Replacement (BRT) .
1	Pedestrian Impact Detection Sensor Bolt (Qty: 5) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 3 N.m (27 lb in)
2	Pedestrian Impact Detection Sensor Procedure: Disconnect the electrical connector.
