Removal Procedure

    Fig 1: Identifying Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor

  1. Remove the left instrument panel (I/P) sound insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side .
  2. Disconnect the body harness electrical connector (1) from the accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor.

  3. Remove the accelerater pedal nuts.
  4. Remove the accelerator pedal.
