Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Locating CKP Sensor

  1. Lubricate the crankshaft sensor O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the CKP sensor.
    3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the CKP sensor bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the CKP sensor wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the CKP sensor.
  5. Install the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement .
  6. Perform the CKP system variation learn procedure. Refer to Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn .
