Engine Control Module (ECM) Procedure
- Record the current engine oil life percentage and use a scan tool to update the NEW ECM, if replacing.
- Disconnect the ECM harness connectors. The ECM harness connectors are equipped with locking levers. Rotate the levers upward to the connectors to disengage the connector.
- Disengage the ECM bracket retaining tabs.
- If replacing, program the ECM. Refer to Control Module References
