Heater and Air Conditioning Control Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement (Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement) or Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Left Side (Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Left Side).
2. Remove the HVAC control module assembly screws.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the HVAC control module assembly.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the electrical connectors to the HVAC control module assembly.
2. Install the HVAC control module assembly into the I/P.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Install the HVAC control module assembly screws.

Tighten the screws to 1.9 Nm (17 lb in).

4. Install the I/P accessory trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement (Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement) or Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Left Side (Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement - Left Side).
5. Refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning) for replacement and setup information.
