Removal Procedure

    WARNING:

    Do NOT attempt to repair or alter the tether anchor on the child seat restraint system. If the tether anchor is damaged, replace the entire tether anchor. Altering the tether anchor could result in personal injury.

  1. Remove the rear shelf panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: Child Tether Anchor & Bolt

  2. Remove the bolt that retains the child tether anchor that is being serviced.
  3. Remove the child tether anchor from the vehicle.
