Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the multifunction switch electrical connectors.
  2. Install the multifunction switch to the steering column.
    3. Fig 1: View Of Multifunction Switch & Screws

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the retaining screws to the multifunction switch and tighten to 7 N.m (62 lb in).
  4. Install the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement .
  5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
