Circuit/System Description

This diagnostic applies to internal microprocessor integrity conditions within the hybrid powertrain control module. The hybrid powertrain control module and each motor control module utilize a programmable logic device to perform certain input and output functions. Motor control module 1 programs the programmable logic device with software at every ignition ON event. Motor control module 1 verifies that the programmable logic device is programmed successfully.
