Installation Procedure

  1. Install the generator battery jumper cable to the vehicle.

  3. Install the generator battery jumper cable terminal (4) to the mega fuse stud.
  4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  5. Install the generator battery jumper cable to the mega fuse nut (3).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the mega fuse nut to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  6. Install the generator battery jumper cable clip (2) to the A/C evaporator tube.
  7. Install the generator battery jumper cable clip (1) to the stud.

  9. Install the mega fuse cover.

  11. Install the generator battery jumper cable terminal (1) to the generator stud.
  12. Install the generator battery jumper cable nut (2) to the generator.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the jumper cable nut to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  13. Position the generator battery jumper cable boot (3).
  14. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement .
  15. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
