- Verify that DTC P0A3F, P0A40, P0C52, P0C53, P0C5C, P0C5D, or P1B03 are not set.
- If any of the DTCs are set, refer to DTC P0A3F, P0A40, P0C52, P0C53, P0C5C, P0C5D, or P1B03 .
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the X176 harness connector at the transmission.
- Install the DT-48493 jumper harnessto the harness side only.
- Disconnect the X1 harness connector at the T6 drive motor generator power inverter module.
- Test for less than 1 Ω between the terminals listed below:
- Terminals 8 and 56
- Terminals 9 and 55
- Terminals 10 and 54
- Terminals 11 and 53
- Terminals 12 and 52
- Terminals 14 and 51
- If greater that the specified range, test the signal circuit for an open/high resistance.
- If all circuits test normal, replace the M15A drive motor with generator assembly.
NOTE:
You must perform the Component Testing before proceeding with Circuit/System Testing.
