Scan Tool Output Controls

Body Control Module (BCM)

Scan Tool Output Control Additional Menu Selection(s) Description
Light Test Daytime Running Lamps The body control module (BCM) activates the daytime running lamps (DRL) when you select ON. The DRL will remain illuminated for approximately 5 seconds.
Light Test High Beams The BCM activates the high beam relay when you select ON. The high beams will remain illuminated for approximately 5 seconds.
Light Test Low Beams The BCM activates the low beam relay when you select ON. The low beams will remain illuminated for approximately 5 seconds.
Light Test Parking Lamps The BCM activates the park lamp relay when you select ON. The park lamps will remain illuminated for approximately 5 seconds.
Light Test Courtesy Lamps The BCM activates the courtesy lamp output when you select ON. The courtesy lamps will remain illuminated for approximately 5 seconds.
Light Test Backup Lamps The BCM activates the backup lamp output when you select ON. The backup lamps will remain illuminated for approximately 5 seconds.
Miscellaneous Test Headlamps On Indicator The BCM activates the headlamps on indicator output when you select ON. The headlamps on indicator will remain illuminated for approximately 5 seconds.
Inadvertent Power - The BCM deactivates the inadvertent power circuit when you select OFF. The inadvertent power circuit will remain inactive for approximately 5 seconds.
