Programming TPM Sensors

IMPORTANT:
Make sure the vehicle has been stationary for at least 2 minutes before attempting to program the TPM sensors.
- Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
- Press the RESET button in order to clear any DIC warning messages.
- Press and release the OPTIONS button until the DIC display is blank.
- Press and hold the DIC RESET button for 3 seconds.
- Press the OPTIONS button again until the TIRE TRAINING message appears.
- Press the RESET button until the IPC LEARN L FRONT TIRE message appears.
- Install the J 41760
Tire Pressure Sensor Programming Tool over the left front valve stem.IMPORTANT: If a horn chirp does not sound after 15 seconds, remove then reinstall the TPM sensor programming tool. This procedure may have to be attempted up to three times in some instances. If the RCDLR still does not receive the sensor ID being programmed, refer to DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK - TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING .
- A horn chirp will sound, indicating the left front sensor ID code is programmed.
- 9. Program the next sensors in the following order as directed by the DIC messages:
- LEARN R FRONT TIRE
- LEARN R REAR TIRE
- LEARN L REAR TIRE
