To Remove Owner's Code

(To Deactivate the Theft -Deterrent From the Unlocked Mode, Deterrent Activated):
- Turn the radio OFF. Press and hold push button numbers 1 and 4 for about 6 seconds until the display changes to read SEC.
- Press HR to set the first two digits (0 -19) of the code.
- Press MN to set the next two digits (0 -99) of the code.
- Press the AM/FM button to enter the code.
IMPORTANT:
Either the owners code or the factory backup code can be used to remove the owners code.
IMPORTANT:
The theft -deterrent is already deactivated and no code is stored if the display changes to " - - -".
Theft -Deterrent is deactivated when " - - -" appears on the display and then the time of day displays.
