Circuit/System Testing

- Ignition OFF, disconnect the cruise control switch assembly.
- Ignition ON, verify that a test lamp illuminates between the cruise control/heated wheel indicator signal circuit and ground.
- If the test lamp does not illuminate, replace the cruise control switch assembly.
- Repair the short to voltage in the cruise control/heated wheel indicator signal circuit.
- If the circuit tests normal, replace the BCM.
