Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the cruise control switch assembly.
  2. Ignition ON, verify that a test lamp illuminates between the cruise control/heated wheel indicator signal circuit and ground.
    • If the test lamp does not illuminate, replace the cruise control switch assembly.
  3. Repair the short to voltage in the cruise control/heated wheel indicator signal circuit.
    • If the circuit tests normal, replace the BCM.
